Running a service business
Owning inspection territories and operating a Central Alberta handyman service business has meant responsibility for pricing, contractors, customer acquisition, scheduling and service delivery. That experience informs how I assess whether an operating plan will work for the people delivering it.
Connecting growth and operations
As Vice President, Franchise Development & Operations at Global Franchise Opportunities, I work directly with the CEO and across development, operations, marketing, finance and legal relationships. My responsibilities connect pipeline management, territory strategy, partnerships and negotiations with operating follow-through.
Working across markets
My work spans the United States and New Zealand, with support for Canadian regional and master franchise relationships. Expansion requires a model the business can support, clear responsibilities and coordination with qualified local specialists.
Making work visible
I have administered HubSpot since 2020 and worked with FranchiseSoft, Jobber, ISN and QuickBooks Online. I use systems to make follow-up, responsibilities and operating information useful to the team doing the work.
Operating in demanding environments
Earlier roles in the energy, oil and gas sector, including CNOOC/Nexen, involved process operations, backup unit leadership, operator training, turnarounds, commissioning, shutdowns and startups. That background shapes my approach to operating discipline, clear handoffs and responsibility in safety-critical environments.
Through Longpré Ventures, I bring this experience directly to companies that need leadership for an agreed part of their business or a particular stage of growth.
